Here's you chance to weigh in one of astronomy's greatest questions. Of course no one knows the answer for sure yet. The kink is that if we are truly alone in the universe, we are unlikely to ever be able to answer the question - just because you never find something doesn't mean it's not there - it may be somewhere that you haven't looked yet. And, I'm doubting that humans will ever be able to look EveryWhere in the universe!
Technicality: Note that the poll does not consider extraterrestrial any humans, or other life, that originated on Earth but that may have or will inhabit space or extraterrestrial bodies. In other words, if we ever establish a base on the Moon or Mars, for example, we won't consider the people (or other life that came from Earth) to be extraterrestrial.
